Inspired by the dual nature of geodes—rough on the outside, crystalline within—this lamp reveals its inner glow as you approach. Rather than simply emitting light, it creates a cave-like atmosphere, where illumination emphasizes the soft curves and depth of its form. The contrast between exterior and interior invites curiosity and a sense of quiet discovery.
Designed in Rhino and constructed from laser-cut plywood, each layer was carefully composed to shape both light and shadow. A concealed cutout houses the bulb, keeping the source hidden so the focus remains on the experience of the light itself.
