Trisella
I designed and built a sculptural chair based on a self-imposed set of rules. Starting with a 6" piece of wood, each subsequent unit increased by 0.5" in height and spiraled upward. Individually, the units cannot stand alone—but when interlocked, they support each other to form a functional chair.
The process began with concept models, I refined the design in Rhino, prototyped at scale, and fabricated the final chair.
